Program areas at Nuer Development Association USA
While Nuer people were struggling to survive the flood. Nuerda have to stepped in to provide relief and materials to help the flood victims. We distributed relieved materials to flood hit victims in lare and wanthia in gambella region ethiopia.
Nuerda conducted peace conferences and negotiated resolutions for tribes and/or clan conflicts and stopped the violence. Peace conferences are attended by pastors and several representatives from each tribe/clan. The conference lasted for a week.
In 2022, nuerda expanded education opportunities by building 2 additional classrooms to accommondate up to 100 students. Nuerda also provided school supplies for 100 students including textbooks, pens, notices books, and pencils.
