Program areas at Nueva Esperanza

Providing 22 qualified caretakers for the 111 Honduran children on a daily basis, providing learning experiences to aid in development of each child, furnishing meals and medical care as needed; teaching hygiene as well as giving loving attention to the children while the parent is away from the home working. Furnishing a safe, secure and clean facility as well as a play area for the children to enjoy recreational activities.
Enabling volunteers to serve these impoverished children and families by providing special activities including educational field trips, art projects, and programs; also distributing food and improving the family's home.
Providing scholarships and tutoring for 74 students so that they may attend high school to improve their potential for success in areas of employment and living conditions.
