Nursing Foundation of Pennsylvania

Joint support to our parent organization, Pennsylvania state nurses association (psna), for the following: (1) nfp supported psna's virtual summit through sponsorship of automated booths to announce its scholarship program and testimonials received from past scholarship alumni, as well as interactive banner marketing the 2023 black & gold gala mardi gras ball, a second interactive banner for the sale of the stethoscope necklace at a discounted price for the summit, and two interactive booths highlighting the rose tribute and videos received from past nfp alumni who were honored, an nfp webpage that memorializes nurses who have passed away. Nfp takes part in the annual joanne goss memorial golf outing to market, fundraise and honor the joanne goss endowment fund.

The Foundation offers scholarships for those pursuing careers in Nursing and for those involved in healthcare research and leadership. In 2022-2023, nfp awarded 15 scholarships as follows: - three from the albert einstein scholarship fund - one from the evelyn benson scholarship fund - one from the florence madden grady-fasick fund - four from the abington-dixon hospital school of Nursing endowment - one from the tubman scholarship fund - four from the joanne goss memorial scholarship fund - one from the alyssa rudy scholarship fundall other scholarship funds continue to receive donations throughout the year.scholarships are blind reviewed by reviewers.
