Nutrition Services, Inc. was organized to operate a senior nutrition program. The Minnesota Region Four Area Agency on Aging covers the nine counties of Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Ottertail, Pope, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin. Waivered services is a federally-funded program that allow states to "waive" traditional Medicaid guidelines, allowing individuals to receive services in their homes and community instead of receiving these services in institutions, nursing homes or medical facilities. Waivers are cost effective and allow individuals with disabilities to live where they choose. In 2023, the Organization had a 98% customer satisfaction rate according their annual survey.
