The Foundation oversees more than 140 active scholarships and distributed 623 scholarship awards to 582 individual students to assist scholars who face financial barriers to access, persistance, and success in College. Scholarship awardds are made based on criteria established by donors, which may include but is not limited to academic excellence, demonstrated leadership strengthes, specific programs of study, and financial need.
$22,537 in emergency funds provided to 36 students who faced circumstances that might prevent them from continuing their education and 2 employees who experienced unexpected hardship. Additional funds supported awards for student competitions and employee excellence related to exceptional student service.
Grants extended to 21 projects initiated by faculty and staff to seed innovation and fuel student and Community engagement opportunities. Grant funds also supported student travel for competitions and study abroad opportunities.
