Description
The Ocean Exploration Trust advances the emerging fields of ocean exploration and archaeological oceanography through co-sponsoring and supporting deep sea expeditions, as well as supporting the development of advanced technology required by deep sea expeditions to further public interest. In 2021, OET completed an impressive 5-month field season with the E/V Nautilus, consisting of 11 expeditions in the Pacific for a total of 133 operational days at sea. The E/V Nautilus began its 2021 field season with a shakedown expedition off the coast of San Pedro, California.
