The Oddie Project is a multi-faceted regional initiative established to deliver affordable quality childcare, commercial grade food production facilities, workforce training and job placement services, a community food pantry/market, a community resource hub, multi-use community meeting and classroom space, and wraparound case management to assist persons with employment and life-skills. The program was established in May 2023 and is in the preliminary stages. Subsequent to year-end, the Oddie Project purchased a 7.5 acre parcel with over 65,000 square feet of space in Sparks, Nevada, which will be renovated for the above purposes.
