Ronald Mcdonald House Charities (rmhc) Intermountain Area positively impacted 9,250 pediatric patient families with 22,115 individuals in 2023. the salt lake city Ronald Mcdonald House (rmh) hosted 2,135 neonatal and pediatric patient families with 22,524 nights of free lodging, food, transportation and compassionate care. the average length of stay was eleven nights. Rmh supported families with the high acuity children, traveling the greatest distance. In addition to free lodging, 32,000 free meals were prepared and served by staff and volunteers at the Ronald Mcdonald House.
Ronald Mcdonald hospitality cart (rmhc) - the hospitality cart within ogden regional medical center provided 1,023 pediatric patient families with 3,412 individuals with free respite items.
Ronald Mcdonald family room (rmfr) programs - our hospital-based rmfr programs served 7,115 neonatal and pediatric patient families (13,637 individuals) for 84,260 visits to four rmfr programs within primary children's and the university of Utah hospitals in salt lake city in 2023. the rmfr programs offerred 3,397 nights of free lodging, showers, laundry, and served 25,580 free meals for patient families. the rmfr programs offered actively hosted respite for families of hospitalized children with overnight accommodations, daytime naps, showers, laundry, and a fully stocked kitchens.
