Program areas at Oil City Civic Center

The Oil City Civic Center has successfully maintained its commitment to the preservation of the historical buildings that are known as the transit building and the transit building annex. The Civic Center continually seeks to preserve the historical preservation of these buildings, as well as the historical value of the local area in and around Oil City, Pennsylvania. In order to accomplish this, the Civic Center provides space for the local artists and non-profits at affordable rates. All income derived is devoted to the preservation and restoration of the buildings, as well as promoting the local arts and humanities, and the historical value of the local area. By providing this space for rent, the Civic Center is furthering the encouragement of the historical value of the area. Spaces are available for those organizations who want to assist the Civic Center in accomplishing its mission. This is done by providing space for events, classes, and other beneficial activities for the local residents in the area. Although the preservation and restoration of these buildings is on going, one can physically view these accomplishments by touring the buildings and viewing the beautiful architectural features. The Civic Center is known in the community for its commitment to preserve the historical value and enrich the quality life.
