Program areas at Oklahoma City Ballet
Since its founding in 1969, Oklahoma City Ballet has been the City's professional Ballet company, boasting talented dancers from around the world. As the resident dance company of the civic center music hall, the company produces four main-stage productions per season in Oklahoma City in addition to touring across Oklahoma and surrounding states. Over 30,000 audience members are moved by the Oklahoma City Ballet's artists and world-class performances each year.
Oklahoma City Ballet offers dance classes for all ages and skill levels. Eight hundred students of all ages improve their dance technique through the yvonne chouteau school. Oklahoma City Ballet also offers multiple community engagement programs to encourage artistry and athleticism in students across the state. Over 10,000 oklahomans enjoy the free dance classes and community performances.
