Old Friends Club provides affordable caregiver respite through social daytime dementia care with a mission to cultivate joy in the lives of adults with cognitive challenges and support caregivers. Operating initially in three locations for the first 3 months of 2020, it offered social gatherings for people living with dementia in Carnation and Sammamish, providing much-needed support and returning prepaid revenues when Covid-19 restrictions closed these programs. Program areas at Old Friends Club

Old Friend Club operated in three locations for the first 3 months of 2020, providing much needed caregiver respite and support. As COVD-19 restrictions developed these programs closed. Program revenues which were prepaid, were returned to the participant. After the programs closed due to Covid, OFC researched and assembled community resources for virtual support and events and and presented them in twice monthly newsletters to keep caregiving families connected and informed.
