To schedule, host and promote national, zone, state and local events where individually owned Oldsmobile automobiles are displayed and judged. Many regions have hosted the Oldsmobile Club of America ("oca") nationals since the first one in 1972. Oldsmobile enthusiasts travel cross country to attend these yearly events. In addition to the yearly events, there have been milestones events to mark the 75th, 90th and 100th and 105th anniversary of general motor's Oldsmobile division. These events give owners the chance to shine up the oldsmobiles and display them for competition. The events are also one of the largest Oldsmobile swap meets in the country. Included with the events are seminars, dinners and banquets, planned tours, speeches and awards ceremonies. The 2023 national meet had approximately 299 oldsmobiles on display and over 780 members and family in attendance. In addition to the national meet, the oca also provides promotional materials to several regional, state, and local events where individually owned oldsmobiles are displayed in an effort to attract new members and to continue to promote the legacy of the Oldsmobile brand.
