Program areas at Omaha Symphony Association

The Omaha Symphony served over 220,000 people with over 150 live concerts, education and community engagement programs, and our digital initiatives. We started our 102nd year with an exciting new partnership with the redeveloped Gene Leahy Mall, serving more than 30,000 individuals through four concerts; launched Forte, a new program designed to amplify the strengths of our community and served 12,500 individuals in partnership with 33 organizations; and reached 27,000 students and educators through in-person programming and the continuation of our Virtual Classroom.
Omaha Symphony education and community engagement programs serve more than 27,000 participants throughout the greater Omaha metro area, the state of Nebraska, and western Iowa. Deeply committed to its educational endeavors, in any given season 30-35% of the orchestra's services are dedicated to education, community engagement, and family concert experiences. The Omaha Symphony provides educational programs annually for students aged pre-K through high school. Adult education programs include pre-concert lectures and conducting seminars for music educators.
