Program areas at On the Edge Children's Foundation
Provided recreational and training activities for disabled individuals: Close to 200 children and adults participated in water sports aided by about 70 volunteers. These included several events, the largest of which included training in boating and water sports safety. Other activities included waterskiing, jetskiing, boat rides, fishing, snowmobiling and other outdoor activities. Additional children participated in other programs including activities such as dances, games, crafts, picnics, teambuilding and small tools therapy. Volunteers worked at events. Working with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Fresh Air Kids, Dream for Kids, Wounded Warriors, Oasis Mental Home Group, Cypress Garden Skis, Lake of Woods Adaptive Watersports, Va. Beach Adaptive Watersports and other small groups.
