OHGM's international missionary and independent contractor in Ecuador, Katty Aguirre, also conducts direct community support outside the work done by US teams. In this work, Katty arranges and provides leadership training and education for churches. Bibles and education materials, operates soup kitchens, provides food baskets, and provides church facilities support on special building projects roofs, etc. She holds large community gatherings and celebrations for Christmas and other religious holidays. These programs are directly reimbursed by OHGM.

Continual improvements are being made to OHGM's physical structure in order facilitate its hosting of larger groups. Funds were utilized for that purpose in 2023.

OHGM primary service in Ecuador is hosting teams from the United States. Each year OHGM and our missionary, Katty Aguirre, host bewteen 10 and 15 teams. Also, the local Ecuadorian missionary and her assistants provided medical assistance, drugs, financial support, boots, and many, many food baskets to needy families. While the focus is on the Quichua people, 2023 saw the organization support people all across Ecuador. Most of the expenditures went directly to serving the people of Ecuador while sharing the gospel.
