Program areas at Opas Foundation
OPAS Foundation owns the Holland Performing Arts Center and Steelhouse Omaha and leases these buildings to Omaha Performing Arts Society to further the mission of that organization.
OPAS Foundation is responsible for the fundraising and construction of Steelhouse Omaha, a new live music venue which opened in May 2023, and the Tenaska Center for Arts Engagement, which will open in 2026. These venues are part of the planned expansion of O-pa's arts and entertainment campus near the Holland Performing Arts Center. All construction expenses are currently being capitalized, and support was provided to O-pa for a portion of Steelhouse opening events.
OPAS Foundation provides operational support to Omaha Performing Arts Society in the form of an annual grant.
