Program areas at Open Hearts for Orphans
Through our trusted partners, your collective support funded heart surgeries for five orphaned children - ebenezer, baby yu, jayson, elizabeth, and hope. We were also able to fund medical care for grady, a burn victim who needed skin grafts, and bowen, an orphan who needed eye surgery. We continued shipping necessary medical supplies to the children of little flower, including infant iron drops, liquid ibuprofen and tylenol, gummy vitamins, treated gauze bandages, gauze pads, and triple antibiotic first aid ointment. In addition, we sent seventeen pulse-ox infant sensors. We stood in the gap with our uganda partners who, once again, saw a continued surge of abandoned and malnourished babies. We were able to provide for twenty five babies through medical care, specialized nutrition, and emergency foster care. Your donations covered annual medical care and treatment for 39 girls at mercy home for orphaned and abandoned children in the philippines.

We continued our weekly social media series called "see me saturday" to bring awareness to Orphans in need of families. We continued to bring awareness to the orphan crisis through events and speaking engagements, our memoir "with an Open heart", and our logo necklaces that support orphan care initiatives. Logo necklaces and copies of books were donated to families for adoption auction fundraisers.
