Open Path Psychotherapy Collective

In 2023 Open Path expanded its affordable psychotherapy initiative, its affordable mental health education program, and Being Seen, an initiative designed to help insurance-based and full-fee clients access to reputable therapists in their communities. Open Path implemented a student intern program. This program enables graduate student interns to work with clients in need of reduced-rate, $30 sessions. Throughout 2023, over 1,000 student interns joined as therapists and over 1,400 clients signed up to work with a student intern. By the end of 2023, Open Path had increased its therapist numbers to over 26,000 in all 50 states and Canada and was connecting an average of 1,934 new clients a month.

Open Path concluded the Healing Arts Collective, an initiative that connected over 1,000 clients to affordable holistic care, to direct more resources towards the flagship affordable therapy program. Throughout 2023, Open Path continued to develop its mental health education initiative. All of Open Paths social-emotional learning courses can be accessed for a one-time fee of $4.99. By the end of 2023, Open Path had connected over 60,000 students to affordable mental health education.
