In 2023, the Organization completed the third and final year of its randomized controlled trial of unconditional cash assistance as part of its Unconditional Cash Study. The research team conducted surveys for all participants and in-depth qualitative interviews for a subset of participants. The Organization also applied for and received several grants to fund its components of this project. The Organization advised several other groups conducting cash assistance programs on program and evaluation design and implementation. An additional research service was provided by the Organization focused on investigating the economic impacts of AI.
