Domestic: Open Society Action Fund (osaf), formerly known as Open Society policy center (ospc), achieves its policy goals through advocacy, coalition-building and grantmaking on a range of domestic policy areas, which in 2023 included the following: democracy defense, voting rights, election integrity, census, redistricting, economic security, workers rights, immigration, civil rights, racial justice, gender justice, lgbtq rights, reproductive freedom, courts accountability and ethics reform, combatting mis- and disinformation, technology and civil rights, community safety, climate and environmental justice, corporate accountability, government accountability and transparency, judicial nominations, criminal justice reform, national security and civil rights, housing and health equity, education, and advancing a non-militarized, diplomacy-first u.s. foreign policy.
International: osaf achieves its policy goals through advocacy, coalition-building and grantmaking on a range of international policy areas, which in 2023 included the following: africa, asia, europe and eurasia, latin america, middle east and north africa, climate, energy, and environmental justice, corporate accountability, criminal justice, democracy, digital rights, drug policy, economic justice, finance and debt relief, health, human rights, racial, gender, and ethnic justice, and peace and security-related issues.
