Ob also distributed medicine and medical supplies to partners around the world, which went to outfit resource poor areas benefiting children and adults alike. A first responder in times of disaster, Operation Blessing's domestic disaster Relief team responded to 10 u.s. disasters in fy23. Operation Blessing's domestic disaster Relief team assisted victims of hurricanes ian and fiona, floods in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Virginia, tornados in Kentucky and two events in the gulf states, a train derailment in Ohio, and fires in new mexico. Ob's hunger strike force: in the united states, ob's fleet of hunger strike force tractor-trailers traveled throughout the country and distributed more than 22 million pounds of food and beverages to families in need. By working closely with food processing companies, growers and manufacturers, ob taps into america's surplus and acquires corporate donations of food staples and Relief products, delivering much-needed food and Relief supplies to disadvantaged families and disaster victims.
