OGT fulfills its mission by providing the following:* Cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of natural resource crimes. 12 cash rewards paid out during 2022 totaled $4,550.* Technology grants to Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for the purchase of specialized and technologically advanced equipment for Texas Game Wardens.* Financial aid to the families of Texas Game Wardens and Park Peace Officers killed in the line of duty.* Outreach and education to all Texans in order to protect our natural resources and private property rights.
