Program areas at Operation Serve
Mercy missions - osi mobilizes individuals and teams of short term missionaries to provide physical and spiritual relief to the poor, homeless, distressed, and under-priviledged. Mobilizied teams provided free medical, dental, eye care and hair care for the poor. During 2023, osi mobilized 267 team members from 51 churches who ministered to 10,923 people with 1,698 people committing their lives to christ.
Missionary development - is developing and training missionaries to Serve throughout the world and providing relief to the physical and spiritual poor. Through the missionary development revenue. We train, develop, and mobilize long term missionaries. Two long term missionaries served with us in 2023 and one intern for a 4-week session.
Leadership training - osi provides leadership training through leadership seminars and trains indiginous ministers to touch their nations by providing spiritual relief to the distressed, and encouraging them to share the love of god in word and deed. During 2023, osi offered teachings to 1,105 pastors and leaders in mexico and egypt.
Community development - through ongoing material support to poor communities in the form of groceries, clothes, christmas gifts, legal advisors, and nutritional experts, osi is able to support communities and help foster growth in christian beliefs. The 2022 christmas program served 1,221 people with 135 salvations; 200 toys and 160 bags of groceries were handed out.
