Program areas at Opportunity Education Foundation
The Foundation makes grants to the tanzanian international nongovernmental organization (ingo) also known as Opportunity Education Foundation. The grants fund operations of four or more secondary schools in tanzania. The schools utilize the Foundation's quest-based curriculum.
The Foundation develops, designs and creates quest-based learning system and related curriculm to be used and licensed to schools. Such system differs from current mainstream learning systems and is innovative and new. Currently, curriculum is used in two high schools in the us.
Subscription fees to Foundation's proprietary program permit
Third parties to use and implement quest-based learning. The
Foundation is then able to measure the effectiveness of the
Learning program and make improvements as well as prepare results for
Publication and critical review.
