Cop shop: the cop shop is a gift shop established by the Orange County Police Athletic League located in the lobby of the Orange County sheriff's office.
The Police Athletic League program is an important and integral part of our communities support of our youth. Children and teenagers who are involved in constructive, supervised activities are more likely to have stronger self-images and higher success rates than children who are left alone or without positive role models. Activities include various sport camps, classes in alcohol, drug and gang resistance, conflict resolution, seat belt and gun safety. These camps are run by certified high school coaches and Orange County deputies. The basketball camp will emphasize the fundamental skills of basketball through drills, games, and contests. Crime prevention and safety programs will be presented.
