Orcas Island Forest School

To have children develop a relationship with nature by using the Forest as the classroom and observing the changes that occur with the seasons and the impact they have on the landscape. To have children develop a sense of wonder that comes through direct experience with the natural world that we are called to preserve. Orcas Island Forest School is dedicated to providing a play-based, all- weather, outdoor early childhood education program that fosters an intimate connection to the natural world and supports children as they develop physically, socially and emotionally.
