Oregon Pta is the largest network of parents in Oregon working at the local, state, and national level to support and improve Oregon schools it partners with educators to be a powerful voice for children, an important resource for parents, and a strong advocate for public education. Oregon Pta is an independent, self-governing nonprofit organization consisting of 9 regions, 4 councils, approximately local ptas, with a total of more than 11,500 members statewide Oregon Pta provides yearly leadership training and education for new and returning local unit leaders, as well as valuable information for newcomers and ongoing/updated information for all leaders.
