Powered by the generous support of members, opb connects people through trusted journalism that is freely accessible to everyone. Guided by Public service and a commitment to equity, we deliver in-depth, fact-driven coverage of politics, science and the environment, arts and culture, education and more. Opb shares stories and programs wherever people seek them: on opb.org, opb radio and tv, the opb news app, social media, streaming video including opb passport, podcasts, or our daily "first look and other email newsletters. We aim to give the people of this region the information they need to make informed decisions about issues that impact their lives. Our reporting seeks to connect people across communities and go deeper into what makes this region special. Opb's growing journalism operation is one of the largest in the pacific northwest. Our team of reporters, producers and editors located all across the region provide daily coverage, investigative reporting, in depth documentaries, immersive podcasts and much more. They provide context for national and international stories with a northwest impact. Opb maintains regional editorial partnerships to create stronger collaborative reporting on critical subjects and to maintain a healthy media ecosystem where everyone has access to stories that document the news, life and culture that make the northwest special. These collaborations not only allow opb to share our journalism but also enable us to showcase the exceptional work of our partners. Opb also partners with organizations nationally such as propublica and npr to develop and share enterprise and investigative journalism with impact. Additionally, we bring the world to our region by sharing npr, pbs, american Public media, and bbc programming and more on our Broadcasting services.
