Osrc changes the lives of young children and their families by helping young children with speech and language disorders to better communicate. The kidtalk program, with Clinics located in baker city, bend, klamath falls, lagrande, medford, portland and roseburg, enables children to reach their fullest potentials in life by identifying and treating their communication disorders. Osrc's vision is that all of Oregon's children have the communication skills necessary to succeed at home, in school, and in life by the time they enter kindergarten. In addition to intensive individualized therapy, kidtalk provides screening, evaluations, ongoing consultations, and parent training. Spanish-language services are offered at the portland clinic.

Osrc provides community education regarding childhood communication disorders, and the importance of early intervention. Osrc provides outreach screenings for children in under-served communities and public speakers for community meetings. Osrc provides continuing education opporunities for asha-certified speech-language pathologists.

Osrc provides a clinic therapy experience for a post-master's clinical fellow in collaboration with Oregon health & sciences univesrity.
