Tending leaders chapter - the tending leaders chapter (tlc) is a committed group of founders, graduated ceos and c-level executives who are dedicated to supporting one another and the next generation of purpose-driven leaders.annual membership fee is being collected to all participating companies.
Packaging collaborativethis aims of eliminating petroleum-based plastics from landfills, oceans, and the natural environment, substituting them with renewable and compostable alternatives.1. The campaign's second phase ran from expo west in march 2023 to plastic free july, covering five months. It included webinars, events, advocacy, and brand story sharing to celebrate cpg brand progress globally.2. One step closer to zero waste packaging is a collective campaign targeting the reduction or elimination of single-use plastics.3. Osc utilized an omni-channel social strategy, engaging participants through various digital platforms like linkedin, twitter, and instagram for education and inspiration.

Collaborativej.e.d.i collaborative is a project of one step closer that aims to help natural products companies and leaders increase their ability to actualize justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts through providing educational programming, resources, and training programs designed to increase the awareness, knowledge, and skills within the company it also aims to empower companies and leaders to increase their capacity to create space for and work alongside underrepresented communities to thrive in the natural products industry1. The self-guided pathway offers industry leaders a free toolkit to kickstart jedi efforts in their organizations. It includes a 10-step journey with actions like forming a jedi committee, drafting a statement, setting commitments, and creating an action plan for transformation.2. The jumpstart pathway enhances industry leaders' accountability in prioritizing jedi work. It guides leaders through a 10-step journey, requiring proof of completion for steps like forming a committee, drafting a statement, setting commitments, and devising an action plan.3. In the trailblazer pathway, industry leaders attend nine monthly meetings to develop essential skills for leading jedi initiatives. They learn about bias, power structures, microaggressions, and stereotypes, and gain abilities to foster a jedi culture, conduct company-wide analyses, and create robust action plans. They also join a peer network for ongoing learning.4. The ceo action initiative provides support, guidance, and knowledge for industry leaders implementing jedi changes. It fosters a community where leaders hold each other accountable and provide a safe space to address emotions and challenges in jedi work.

Climate collaborative this is a community consisting of businesses collaborating to establish pathways to action, linking companies to resources and collaborating to devise solutions. Success stories are highlighted, and companies are acknowledged for their commendable climate efforts, motivating more businesses to take action. "1. The climate action connector helps industry leaders connect with partners, nonprofits, and tailored climate resources, generating customized reports to accelerate efforts and facilitate partnerships.2. The climate action and innovation matrix, developed by planet fwd and the climate collaborative, is a crucial resource for aligning environmental stewardship with business strategies. This tool provides clarity and confidence for leaders navigating their climate journey.3. The climate collaborative's 2023 annual report summarizes the tracking progress survey, assessing companies' climate commitments in 2022. This data informs collaborative efforts and supports companies in achieving climate goals by highlighting barriers and industry trends.
