Program areas at Osta Foundation
The Foundation awards scholarships annually to students who are dependents of active members of the Osta. Additionally, the Foundation awards scholarships to student children and widows of Oklahoma highway patrol troopers who are killed in the line of duty.
The Foundation provides funding for the cadet lawman academy. This academy provides Oklahoma high school juniors who are ranked in the top 10 percent of their class with a first-hand experience of what it is like to be an Oklahoma highway patrol trooper.
The Foundation provides small stipends to Osta members or family members in time of need due to disasters or unforeseen medical emergencies.
