Program areas at Our Front Porch
To provide long-term recovery support for people affected by home fires and other disasters by providing emergency housing, disaster case management, and mental health support.
Received from communty foundation boulder couty to fund the disaster case management and mental health support for marshall fire survivors.
In 2023 Our Front Porch provided services to 1,076 home fire survivors. 756 pro bono case management sessions, valued at 45,360, helped clients locate resources, nvaigate the insurance process, and find new housing, 481 pro bono therapy sessions, valued at 25,530, helped clients recover from their trauma. We also distributed 332 packages of new underwear and bras and responded to 7 large scale apartment fires or disasters. The emergency housing program served 8 people, providing them with a safe and affordable temporary home. The project managagment program provided support and resouces to homeowners navigating the insurance process and managing contractors. Grant funds were also received to provide 5,600 in gift carda and 10,000 in mattresses and bed frames.
