Program areas at Our One Community
We completed outfitting 200 homes with vented cooking stoves and have begun installing solar lighting.
We support the salaries of educational and medical staff along with covering the full pay of local managers and operational and maintenance workers.
Education is now the major ongoing program for Our One Community in Olmoti. We have built 3 elementary school buildings with a student population of over 700. Qualified students now are supported to go to Tanzanian boarding schools by us financially and four are now funded by us to attend college with one having just graduated.
Clinic support, women's economic support, facilities operations and maintenance. $21544. Staff training, travel, legal exp. and office expenses. $9453. Carryforward into 2024 of $8276 by the Olmoti grant holder. Direct program expenses incurred by Our One Community include travel, promotion, office and IT expenses totalling $12119.
