Outlaw Square is the communitys year-round outdoor activity and entertainment hub on Deadwoods Historic Main Street, and thats precisely what all Square activities are designed to do. Outlaw Square hosts a variety of activities annually including movie nights, farmers markets, live entertainment, family activities and seasonal ice skating. Outlaw Square was created because of a community-wide effort to build a local gathering space to accommodate public events in Deadwood, South Dakota. Deadwood has a rich history tracing back to Americas last gold rush.

Program areas at Outlaw Square

The organization hosted family-friendly entertainment including movies, hands-on learning and live concerts from May through September, on every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and occasional weekends at no charge to attendees. The organization catered a First Responder Appreciation Barbeque free of charge to all first responders and their families in the community. The organization also hosted community picnics and community holiday celebrations. These events were free to everyone and included games, activities, live entertainment, snacks, and more.
