Outreach Development Corporation (odc) advocates for and mobilizes public/private partnerships to preserve, acquire and develop affordable rental housing with services in the west suburban communities of wayzata, long lake, orono, hamel, medina, medicine lake, minnetonka beach and plymouth. This housing will remain affordable over time, thereby serving many families and individuals at a variety of income levels. Odc heightened its advocacy efforts on community Outreach and education designed to keep our community informed, engaged and invested in local housing initiatives and solutions to our local housing crisis, and timely relationship-building and collaboration with public policy leaders to develop policies conducive to the preservation and Development of creative affordable housing options. In fy2024 odc successfully advocated with the city of plymouth resulting in passage of an inclusionary housing policy conducive to preservation and Development of a continuum of affordable housing options that address current and projected need.
