Omi providing emergency shelter for 564 clients experiencing homelessness in 2023, this includes case management for referral to medical, mental health, life skills training, job training and job procurement services. Operations support from private and corporate donations. Program services support is from the city of sanford,lee county government grants and the state budget allocations.
Providing housing procurement through the omi housing program/ savings program and the esg rapid rehousing funds from hud provided by johnson-lee-harnett community action inc.omi case managers provide support to the clients for ousing search assistance,and landlord/lease assistance. All clients are assessed and qualified for enrollment in the rapid rehousing program. Omi program support is from foundation grants, and private or corporated donations.
