Oyster Bay Main Street Association

Streetscape Improvements: The organization is dedicated to creating inviting public spaces. To achieve this, they hired a landscaping company to come to the downtown every two weeks to clean the sidewalks and streets during the peak visitor season from April through early December. They have also made investments into local public spaces by purchasing new tables and chairs to create an outdoor dining area open to the public.

Community Events-Throughout the year OBMSA organizes free events in the downtown to help foster a sense of community, bring people together, and encourage our members to shop local. We host a variety of events, including: The Oyster Bay MarkeDancing in the Street, Boo-tiques By the Bay, and the Holiday Stroll and Tree Lighting.t,

Seasonal Decorations- The organization decorated the lamp posts of the downtown business district with 168 hanging baskets in the summer and 168 wreaths in the winter. The organization also purchases the holiday decorations and Christmas Tree in the center of the downtown. OBMSA installs and maintains all decorations.
