Program areas at Pacific HELPS
Pacific HELPS has been extensively involved in rebuilding a school in Yap, Micronesia that educates children in grades kindergarten through 12. It also supports the operations of the school by providing funds for scholarships for attendees, purchasing textbooks, teaching materials and tools, and desks for the children to use while at school. The ministry also recruits teachers. While the initial vision of providing health, education, life-skills, pure water, and solar or other renewable energy sources was to the islands of the Pacific, this school (Faith Christian Academy) has embodies the whole vision on a smaller level. Replicating this exact scenario in other island countries would be ideal.
