Program areas at Pacific Northwest Section of the PGA of America

Golf tournaments serve to stimulate The general public's interest in golf through participation in pro-am events and observation of professional events. Other activities and services of The organization help to elevate standards of The sport as a profession. Each of Section's five chapters hosted numerous tournaments. Approximately 675 professionals and 2,500 amateurs participated in a total of 226 events organized by Section and its chapters.
Conducting annual merchandise show.
Continuing education of Pga members. Pga members are required to earn 54 member service requirement (msr) credits in a three-year cycle. Members earn msr credits by attending chapter meetings or education seminars and workshops.
