Pacific Opera Project produces multiple operas each year, serving an audience of thousands through musical and dramatic performances and outreach programs. They have further developed their community engagement program to reach students in title-1 schools, community centers, and other community partners. In addition to indoor shows, they also produce outdoor performances to provide live art to the community during times when access is limited.

Program areas at Pacific Opera Project

Produced 5 mainstage performances, including the us premiere of vivaldi's ercole s'ul termodonte. Further developed our education programs, serving three original in-school curricula to over 650 students 27 classrooms in 9 title-i schools, and launched our first youth summer program. Offered multiple free community performances including those for the city of laguna beach and la boheme, aka "the hipsters" at angel city brewing and a free open house for the community. Moved into our new, permanent headquarters in highland park.
