They Also Will Provide Ongoing Support To Schools Already Utilizing the CMB Program. To Incentivize Schools To Participate, Pihn Will Provide Participating Schools With An $8.00 Health and Wellness Award Incentive for Every Student Who Completes the CMB Program.$50,000
West Virginia Center on Budget and PolicyConduct An Assessment of the Impact of Upcoming Changes To Federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (Snap) Eligibility for "Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents" in Cabell and Mingo Counties. in Each County, WVCBP Will Interview at Least 15 Individuals Impacted By This Policy Change To Assess How It Affected Their Food Need. WVCBP Also Will Interview Food Pantry Staff and Other Key Informants in Each County To Determine Whether the Policy Change Results in Increased Demand at Food Pantries And, If So, Whether Food Pantries Are Able To Meet the Increased Need. Facing Hunger Food Bank Will Assist WVCBP in Identifying Interviewees. WVCBP Will Author Two Case Studies and Draft at Least Three Blog Posts Documenting Its Findings. It Also Will Educate Charitable Food Network Partner Organizations and Policymakers in Hopes of Informing Policy Changes at the State and National Level To Snap Eligibility Requirements.$40,000
