Program areas at Palo Alto Museum
Construction: rehabilitation of the historical 1932 roth building has begun. The fundraising team will prioritize interests of local philanthropists, our faithful community donors and build relationships with businesses that will lead to coprorate sponsorship in many forms. These contributions will build Palo Alto's first local History Museum creating a new, long-needed community resource. We are excited to develop a world-class Museum which will:-build empathy within our diverse community and nourish pride and civic engagement.-be a free cultural destination in the heart of Palo Alto, with innovative exhibitions, programs and resources to tell the stories of our Palo alto-stanford community, and our legacy of innovation and far-reaching impact.-be a teaching location and resource on state and local History, enriching and explaining the curriculum for students from Palo Alto, east Palo Alto and stanford, whether public, private or home schooled.
Collections, archives & exhibition planning:our cutting-edge vision of interactive galleries will personalize the Museum experience with innovative curation of historical moments in Palo Alto History. Our goal is to inspire community involvement and participation, attracting not only our local History makers, but also the next generation.
