Pan African Center for Empowerment elevates the quality of life for people of African heritage worldwide by deconstructing oppressive systems and developing human-centered, tech-powered solutions. Despite challenges posed by the health fluctuations of PACE's Executive Director, our COO manages daily operations across PACE and its programs: The Union, Solo Magic, Nurturing Roots, Tribe Called Tech, and Suli Fund. Our organization strives to achieve goals and provide progress.

Program areas at Pan African Center for Empowerment

Nurturing Roots A community farming program focused on healthy food choices with a focus on sharing the truth about systematic oppression with an emphasis on food and environmental justie. Nurturing Roots provides access, education, and re-engaging folks with our land and environment. Programmatic Events - Weekly volunteer farm day (500 volunteers for 2023), Youth Back to School Events, Providing no cost fruit and vegetables. Delivering No cost food boxes, Hosting community events, Social media engagements. Nurturing Roots served 3,000 individuals in 2023
The Union Formerly a co-working space, The Union has reestablished as media lab supporting artists and creatives The Union served 100 individuals in 2023. 2023 Program Events - No cost access to technology and equipment for content creators and community, documentry capture, podcast and photo studio
PACE We aid in the economic development of resource poor and marginalized global African communities with foundational services that seek to empower primarily through science, technology, arts and media PACE served 150 individuals in 2023.
Solo Magic Non-profit arts initiative that collaborates with innovative artists to create socially relevant work and provide a platform for sharing and discussing art as activism. Solo Magic served 120 individuals in 2023. 2023 Program Events - Virtual gatherings, Artists Support and Honorariums, Social Media engagements.
Tribe Called Tech A program that supports all stages of personal and profesional development by by working to increase access to knowledge and resources that amplify the hiring,promotion, and retention rates of the tech focused career-minded individuals. 2023 Program Events - A tech platform that provides applicable business and technology skills development opportunities, career (internship) recruiting, and a network of alumni mentors.
