The Entity facilitated the expansion and diversification of Parkinsons Disease (PD) trials and targeted indications, including trials for non-motor symptomatic indications, industry-sponsored trials, and investigator-initiated programs. It has developed collaborations with groups such as the Parkinsons Foundation, Pair Program, National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NIH/NINDS), and The World Parkinson Congress. It has also provided a mentored clinical research award to support new investigators in a one-year project in patient-oriented research in Parkinsons Disease and Parkinsonian Disorders.
