Parole Preparation Project supports currently and formerly incarcerated New Yorkers through advocacy, litigation, and community care. It collaborates with and advocates for parole-eligible individuals serving life sentences in New York State prisons, training volunteers to assist these applicants who have often faced repeated denials of parole despite their eligibility. Over the years, Parole Prep has expanded its programs to include policy advocacy, community care, and arts programming, all aimed at securing freedom and fostering reunification within families and communities.
