Program areas at Partnership 4 Hope
Youth connected to our program can shop for free at our warehouse location called "Youth Mart" finding household items such as beds kitchen tables and chairs sofas and other household furnishings and appliances. Most youth do not have a way to get these items to their homes so our volunteer group "Truck Brigade" will deliver their items each week after picking up donations around the city. At delivery Partnership 4 Hope provdies a "Bucket of Hope" which is a cleaning pail filled with all the small things most young adults don't know they need for their home until they realize they don't have it. Tools cleaning supplies extension cords and other small items fill the bucket and when funding is available vacuums are purchased for each youth. Omaha Community Foundation awarded a grant to Partnership 4 Hope to assist with Buckets of Hope in 2023.
Access Period was a new program in May of 2022 aimed at providing feminine hygiene products free of charge and in accessible areas. Healthy Blue awarded Access Period a grant in the amount of $10,000 in July allowing the program to purchase additional cabinets to be placed in medical facilities around the state along with the supplies to fill them.
Stanley E. Fulton Foundation awarded Partnership 4 Hope a grant to supplement the biggest expense category- "Support for Youth". These expenses are incidental emergency and educational in nature. Job changes car issues late rent or utilities and purchasing food for the youth and their children are main areas of support that Partnership 4 Hope gives to the youth connected to our program.
