Program areas at Partnership for Americas Children
The Partnership connects its members, multi issue independent state and local child advocacy organizations that work to improve the laws and policies affecting Children, via email, list serves, website, conference calls, webinars and meetings so that they can learn from each other to strengthen their policy expertise, advocacy skills, and organizational capacity. It provides technical assistance on organizational development and advocacy skills. It connects its members to national organizations that work on Children's issues to increase their access to policy expertise. It educates funders about the importance of state and local child advocacy and creates opportunities via pass-through grants for national funders to support its members. The Partnership also helps lead count all kids, a national effort to improve the count of young Children in census data, and conducts outreach to low income families to help them claim the 2021 expanded child tax credit.
