In 2022, the Partnership for Housing Affordability (PHA) continued to implement the solutions outlined in the Richmond Regional Housing Framework, which included increasing the supply of rental housing in the region, working with other partners to address the racial wealth gap, and encouraging the development of local housing policies. In total, PHA made 32 presentations to 704 community partners in 4 jurisdictions about housing affordability in the Richmond region.
PHA's Housing Resource Line responded to more than 7,900 calls, resulting in 3,400 referrals, and $340,000 in financial assistance provided to local residence for housing needs.
