Epic zone youth clubhouses:youth clubhouses offer a safe space where youth have the opportunity for development, empowerment, and support. All youth between the ages of 12 and 17 are included as valuable members of the community's rich with experiences and are able to identify their positive contributions to self and others. There are two clubhouse locations throughout Ontario County, geneva and bloomfield.
Community support center:the community support center's mission is reflected through their programming which offers recovery of life through wellness and counseling. Every community member has access to free programs in an effort to build community and connection through resiliency and strength. The ongoing partnerships and collaborations between the community support center, local community business and tireless volunteers have been instrumental to their success.
Ontario County youth court:ontario County youth court (ocyc) is an alternative to traditional criminal justice system for young people who have committed certain violations. The goal of youth court is to intervene in antisocial or delinquent activities, reduce the incidence and teach new behaviors and coping skills. This peer-based program is designed to promote education about the judicial process, motivate accountability for actions and reinforce responsibility to society through community service and educational sentencing.
Substance abuse prevention coalition of Ontario county:substance abuse prevention coalition of Ontario County is a community coalition that meets regularly to implement prevention strategies and provide educational outreach on a variety of topics including the current drug epidemic. The coalition hosts forums, trainings and workshops throughout the community and schools aimed at prevention education.leadership ontario:leadership Ontario is a program designed to facilitate the growth and development of Ontario County leaders. This 10-month program hosts a cohort of 20 to 25 individuals that seek to enhance both leadership and interpersonal skills while obtaining a greater understanding of Ontario County, including its strengths and areas of opportunity. This program builds talent pipeline and retains key talent in our community and increases appreciation for our community assets and resources.suicide prevention coalition of Ontario county:the suicide prevention coalition of Ontario County is a coalition of community members interested in educating Ontario County about suicide prevention and mental health through advocacy, education, and trainings.peer services:the Partnership offers the services of a community crpa (certified recovery peer advocate). A community-based crpa has lived experience within the substance abuse and mental health realms and is trained to walk along their peers to provide support and resourcres throughout their individual recovery journey.pathways:the pathways to education and employment program is designed to assist those who have previous experience with the criminal justice system. Offering a community curriculum to a group of likeminded individuals, this three-month program allows individuals to grow in their own worth and gain skills that translate into long-term employment opportunities or a path to begin their education journey.
