Pathways To Safety International

Pathways to Safety International educates Americans traveling and living abroad, giving them the tools to stay informed about gender-based violence, and empower victims to survive and heal. Pathways undertakes the global challenge of assisting victims who are enduring extreme suffering in isolated situations where support seems minimal and many obstacles block the path to safety. Services are provided via technology on a global scale to American victims of gender based violence including sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and forced marriage. This was achieved via an international toll free crisis line, 833-SAFE-833 and crisis email through April 30th, 2019, and thereafter just via our crisis email when Pathways' was forced to downsize due to the loss of Federal Government Funding. Pathways' serves a population estimated at 9 million American civilians living overseas, 80 million Americans traveling overseas, and the 450,000 American military personnel and their dependents.

In 2019, Pathways to Safety continued the outreach and education projects and worldwide outreach efforts through training, social media and email outreach. Pathways also continued the development of an International Sexual Assault database.
